Residents say no to forest project.

NAROK: Residents are to protest against a Sh 200 million project planned by a foreign oganisation to manage a forest. The Loita and the Purko people say the Niamena Enkitio forest is site where important cultural functions are held. At a press conference in Nairobi, they questioned  the rationale of giving the land to International Union for the Conservation of Nature to manage the forest.
