What has happened with Police Commissioner Hussein Ali’s regular security updates in the media.
The police boss had been on course since early this year regularly to explain to Kenyans what his office was doing to contain the skyrocketing insecurity in the country?
Has the paratrooper from the barracks not seen any sense to explain to Kenyans the origins of Mt Elgon clashes and the renewed Mungiki mayhem and what his office is doing to contain the
situation?
Perhaps the Police Commissioner should take the cue from nominated MP Franklin Bett who appreciated First Lady Lucy Kibaki’s visit to Mt Elgon clash zone by saying it is a good gesture, “but the Government should know that in our place, we do not send a woman where there is war.”
